A
high-performance machine, equipped with racy good looks
and intelligent engineering, the Spectre 32CS is comfortable
at triple-digit speeds, and probably the most refined
model in our cat line-up.
Design Philosophy
The Spectre 32CS is newly designed to accommodate more
comfort, style, and overall performance. With contemporary
lines, the 32CS features a deeper tunnel, a deeper cockpit
with fully integrated liner, roomier rear passenger
section, added storage, and ergonomic wrap-around dash
to showcase its top-of-the-line instrumentation.
Extending well to the rear of the
cockpit, the crystal-clear polycarbonate windshield
has been custom built to provide wind and spray protection
for driver and co-pilot up-front as well as the rear-seat
passengers.
The hull design features six-stepped
sponsons. The 32CS can be rigged with stern drives such
as Mercury HP525EFIs, or triple outboard configuration.
A poker-run favorite, the 32CS is pure pleasure.
State-of the Art
Construction and Materials
The fit and finish of the 32CS really stands out. We
insist on quality at every step of the construction
process in every boat we build. When you take a close
look, even in the hidden areas, you’ll see that
the 32CS is no exception.
The 32CS is constructed using bi-axial
and tri-axial fiberglass, with high-tech vinylester
resin and composite Airlite core. The vacuum bagging
process ensures that the hull is light-weight without
compromising strength and durability. Kevlar reinforcements
are employed at critical locations throughout, providing
long-term integrity in even the most punishing race
conditions.
Race-Ready Rigging
and Hardware
Hardware includes Livorsi or Mercury SmartCraft instrumentation,
Livorsi throttles and full hydraulic race steering,
Cole Hershee switches, and hardware from Eddie Marine
and Dana Marine. The 32CS can be fitted with a second
GPS for the benefit of the backseat passengers.
From its Accon pop-up cleats, aluminum
rubrail, and flush mounted fuel fills and vents, all
hardware has been carefully appointed for optimal performance
while carefully integrating into the overall visual
appeal of the 32CS.
All wiring is neatly race-mounted,
with stainless cushion clamps and shrink sealed. From
its aircraft-grade stainless steel hardware and powder
coated railing, quality is apparent throughout. All
attached hardware is through-bolted, using sturdy backing
plates or embedded mounting plates in the hull and deck,
to provide a solid connection point and to ensure long-term
performance.
Performance
With its high-performance, composite construction and
efficient hull design, the 32CS is quick to plane, very
responsive and turns well.
You get a lot of range out of the
32CS compared to its heavier counterparts. With fuel
capacity of 140 gallons from 2 aluminum tanks, you will
have adequate capacity for offshore cruising.
All Spectre boats are water tested
on fresh water Lake Tarpon, and fine-tuned for optimal
performance before they are prepared for delivery.
Features
The sports-car inspired 32CS interior features oversized,
high-back racing bucket seats with carbon fiber backs
and extreme-density foam to provide superior head, neck
and back support up front as well as for passengers
in back.
The 32CS features gunwale inserts
with speakers for the high-end sound system and drink
holders, and side compartments for securely stowing
smaller items. Grab handles make welcome additions for
passengers at triple-digit speeds.
Dedicated storage is provided behind
the rear seats, extending the full width of the cockpit.
The inboard version features an enlarged engine compartment
to improve access for maintenance. In the outboard model,
much of this space is made available for additional
storage.
The fiberglass cockpit liner is
textured with a male non-skid surface pattern, and can
be fitted with snap-in marine grade carpet for superior
comfort. In the stern drive configuration, the transom
features a swimmer-friendly boarding platform.
